No Skyride for the rest of 2011?

Alton Towers have told the public that it looks like there will not be a skyride for the rest of 2011! Skyride "an amazing skyride lift taking you to different sectors" is an amazing ride to chill, relax have have 5 minutes looking at the park from a high view! Alton Towers told us it looks like the Skyride may not be up and running until the 2012 season. We are still trying to find out what casued this to happen, but when one of our team members visited, they were stuck on the Skyride for 30 minutes, as there was a powercut! Maybe it's to do with the technical side! We don't know! But were trying to find out ASAP for you!

Vote for rides at the Towers!

Alton Towers released a brand new vote campain to vote for a All Time Great at Alton Towers this summer! You can vote for all 5 top rides at the Towers. Rides include: TH13TEEN, Oblivion, Nemesis, Rita and Air. There is also a competition to be on the desgin team to help make logo's, photos, adverts and more for the new ride in 2013!
